Testimonials

  • Because of the B.T.S.E.D scholarship, I am able to focus on my studies because I no longer have to worry about gathering up funds for my fees. God used this scholarship to make my joy complete in spite of the global economic meltdown. The organizers of the scholarship fund are truly God-sent. God continuously bless and increase the sources of this divine provision.

  • I was in my final year and had been unable to pay my school fees from year one till then. The scholarship came at the right time - when I needed it the most. God showed up when I needed him the most, in the form of Mr. Fred Okotie (the co-ordinator of the scholarship fund). He not only gave me a scholarship for my final year but cleared the backlog of my outstanding fees from admission till that final year.

  • I want to say a very big thank you to the organizers and initiator of the scheme on behalf of myself and my family. As a married seminarian with children, it has not been easy taking care of school charges and that of my children which is solely on my husband. To the glory of God, this scholarship has lessened the burden on my family. We pray that the good Lord will bless and strengthen the scheme in Jesus name. Amen.

  • I had been thinking how and where to get the funds to finance my theological training in order to pursue my ministerial call, as a result, I had been procrastinating for years. In 2019, I decided to take a step of faith and glory to God, that same year I heard about the scholarship fund. I applied and I was chosen as one of the successful candidates. The B.T.S.E.D.F has been covering my tuition and for that, I sincerely appreciate.

  • Money discouraged me from picking the Seminary form in 2017 and 2018. In 2019, funds were still unavailable but I took the form by faith. I borrowed money to pay my first-year fees and was still praying about how I would pay for the remaining three years when God used the Diaspora Scholarship to answer my prayers. God will continually protect, guide and bless the financiers/organizers of this scholarship scheme. Just as God is using you to fulfill his will in the life of his people who He uses to equip others, generational blessing will be your portion in Jesus name.

  • In my first year, things were very hard for me. After paying my fees, i could only afford 20% and by my second year, we were required to pay a minimum of 80% to be eligible to write exams. I trusted the God who called me to provide my fees and before my fees were due, the scholarship forms came out. I was awarded the scholarship and since then, my life and academics have not been the same. Glory to God!

  • I had difficulties paying my school fees as a student of the Seminary. Coupled with this, I had an accident which left me with a broken right leg and hand. I saw the advert and I applied, to my greatest surprise I was enlisted as one of the beneficiaries of the Scholarship fund. I appreciate the organizers of the Scholarship fund for enlisting me as one of the beneficiaries. This scholarship scheme has actually helped a lot of helpless pastors in the seminary to meet up with the mandate of heaven over their lives. May the Lord continue to bless you all and enlarge your territories in the name of Jesus, Amen.

  • When I got admission into the seminary in 2017, I was able to pay for my first year because I had saved up some money from farming. In 2018, due to the flooding in my village, i had no produce to sell to give me funds for my fees and even feeding became so hard. That same year, the scholarship scheme was introduced to us and it was the answer to my prayers. For the past 3years I have been a recipient of the scholarship and this brings me and my family so much joy.

  • For years, I refused to accept my pastoral call and when I could no longer continue my Jonah status, I began to process my admission at the Seminary. My robust zeal was barricaded by the financial challenges of paying my fees at 200level coupled with an accident that almost took my life. To my surprise, I was one of the students chosen for the maiden edition scholarship award. I am grateful to God and to the Director for this scholarship, it has tremendously helped me make good progress with my studies and bring me stability.

  • I am honored to be one of the recipients of the Baptist Theological Seminary Eku, Diaspora Fund Cincinnati Ohia USA Scholarship. Thanks to your generous support I am the first in my family to attend a theological seminary. Growing up in a less privileged community has not only offered financial and academic challenges, but has also helped me realize the value of education. My studies in Baptist Theological Seminary Eku, so far would not been possible without generous support from scholarship sponsors like your organization. Thank you for enabling this opportunity!

With so much to deal with, I almost droped out of school but succor came through the B.T.S.E.D scholarship fund. Gratitude to the Director and his teamfor putting smiles on my face. Now, I ma hopeful i will be graduating in 2021.
